COME TO
TORTOLA
Tortola is home to 11,000 gentle
people who live and work in this natural 21-square mile Island
Paradise. The trade winds bring this island its sweet, subtropic,
weather: 72-88 degrees in winter, 77-88 degrees in summer, and
make Tortola one of the finest sailing and deep sea fishing
retreats in the world. Just a 20 minute drive from "Casa
Caribe" is Roadtown, the island capitol. Here
you'll find fully stocked grocery stores, medical services,
specialty shops, restaurants... even antiques. The pace? Calm,
Gracious, Casual....
Perhaps you would like to explore the landscape - A hike through
the mountains, exploring the caves, a visit to the neighboring
islands. The property management can arrange car and jeep rentals
for land safaris, and will assist you with boat charters, special
excursions and generally help you plan your stay.
Little Apple Bay is a small village facing the sea on the
northwest side of Tortola. The bay has plenty to tempt the
adventurous: Sailing, deep sea fishing, scuba and snorkling. Six
excellent restaurants, (four "Four Star") serving local
and continental cuisine are well within walking distance, as well
as "Bomba's", home of the world famous Moon Party!
"Casa Caribe" is offered with the best
wishes of its owner who also chose Little Apple Bay for the
fantastic view, gentle breezes and constant sound of the sea. If
you would like to do a half or full day sail/snorkeling trip
during your stay, we strongly suggest "Patouche II"
